No Funding to Protect Great Lakes from Asian Carp

No funding to protect Great Lakes from Asian carp

The current administration provided money for Soo Locks, but still not enough money for the Asian carp barrier. Maybe that can change if we put more "pressure" and bring more "awareness" to this issue. The coronavirus pandemic couldn't have happened at a worse time, while the government will be providing trillion dollar stimulus package for Americans, the Asian carp will be working their way up to the Great Lakes. Months ago DNA has already been found passed the barrier, but now officials have confirmed larvae for the first time in the Great Lakes watershed along with numerous Asian carp caught recently in Minnesota, above the Minnesota southernmost dam.

Remind you Michigan is a $7-billion-a-year fishing industry!
